Or as one of my students once put it, "So repetition is the catsup of music?!". Yeah, repetition makes EVERYTHING tasty.
I get the idea, though. Great to step outside whatever little fences we have built, whatever it takes.
Thanks for your thoughts. Sibelius, for example used to hear a particular tone when he saw his green oven, if I remember correctly. And for some who experience this, music can bring on waves of color. Really amazing.

David
http://www.globalaroundtown.blogspot.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00064021788741350871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-582018343864826326.post-24119171214785984132010-02-05T15:03:16.664-08:002010-02-05T15:03:16.664-08:00And so how did the location, and/or experience eff...And so how did the location, and/or experience effect the sound created?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00064021788741350871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-582018343864826326.post-91327230035990201872010-02-05T10:16:11.794-08:002010-02-05T10:16:11.794-08:00To unravel the creative process--how an artist goe...To unravel the creative process--how an artist goes from an idea to a song, painting, film, book, etc. --is a compelling topic.
